Cal. 45-75. S# 1844. Bbl 22" carbine style. Pinned German silver blade front sight with reverse mounted rifle style leaf rear sight. Action has thumbprint dust cover with saddle ring on left side. Band fastened full length carbine forend, straight grip walnut stock with steel carbine buttplate. Mfg. 1877. CONDITION: metal has cleaned gray appearance with scattered spots of dark pitting. Wood has dark worn appearance with peeling finish showing scratches, marks and dents. Action shows wear, lever hangs loose. Dark lightly pitted bore retaining intact rifling. (01-28180/DS).
